The Presidents of the Illinois Science Teachers Association, Illinois Chemistry Teachers Association, the Illinois Section of the American Association of Physics Teachers, and the Chicago Section of the American Association of Physics Teachers proudly announce our partnership for the first Illinois Science Education Conference.  This venture brings our organizations together to share resources, network, and multiply impact for our collective organizations.  We invite our members to work with us to push our collective conference-tradition envelopes to construct more innovative professional learning opportunities.  

• The 2011 conference theme will focus on the futures of the sciences and engineering.

• The joint conference will be held at Tinley Park, near to the centers of Illinois’ science industries, resource centers and population.

Willy Hunter (IACT), Andrew Morrison (ISAAPT), and Mel Sabella (CSAAPT) will be organizational liaisons to Gwen Pollock (as Conference Chairperson) for our planning.  We are confident about the collective potential for success together.
