[ISTATALK-L] High School Graduation Science Requirements

During the summer ISTA convention a committee met to discuss the current
science requirement for Illinois high school graduation. The State
requires a minimum of one year of science for graduation. The committee
questioned how many districts in Illinois have more than that one year
minimum. If you could help collect this information, it would be
appreciated. ISBE does not have this information. Please tell us the
name of your high school, its city or town location, if this is a
private or public school and the number of years of science that are
required for graduation. You may respond to the listserv or to Andy
Apicella at aa2100@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Thank you.

Andy Apicella,
ISTA Secretary
Riverdale Senior High School, Port Byron, Illinois
(2 years of science required)
