Ms. Scheppler,

Do you think middle school students would enjoy and benefit from reading the biogoraphies your students wrote? If so please pass on the information I need to purchase a copy of the book for my classroom library (can I get it on Amazon, etc.

Andy:
         IMSA students have authored biographies of scientists:  Portraits
of Great American Scientists, Prometheus Books 2001, edited by Leon
Lederman and myself.  Not only do the biographies talk about the science,
scientist, his/her inspirations, but they were written by high school
students, based on interviews with the scientists.  The book is diverse in
the topics and scientists included.
