[ISTATALK-L] New IDNR Activity Books

New Activity Books Available for Educators

Looking for a new way to invigorate your lessons? The Illinois
Department of Natural Resources' (IDNR) Division of Education has just
the items for you. Three new activity books are now available for your
request: "Aquatic Resources of Illinois;" "Illinois Mammals;" and
"Illinois' State Symbols." These free, 24-page books are available in
classroom sets. "Aquatic Resources of Illinois" is targeted to grades
4-8 and contains information and activities about many water-related
topics. Meant for use at grades K-6, "Illinois Mammals" can assist you
in teaching about all the types of mammals in our state. "Illinois'
State Symbols" has a coloring page and separate narrative text
describing each of the state symbols. To order any of the activity
books, go to www.dnr.state.il.us then click on the "Education" button in
the right side bar. From the next screen, select "online order form."
