I would like to share some information about an opportunity that is
available to high school students through NASA SHARP (Summer High school
Apprenticeship Research Program). This program is an eight-week summer
mentored research program for rising juniors and seniors. It is held at
universities and NASA Field Installations across the United States.

For students accepted into the program, this is a life-changing
experience, and we are anxious to get more students from
underrepresented groups involved this year. The recruiting season has
just started, and our deadline for applications is February 14, 2005.

 We could mail to you our Information Kit with a promotional video about
NASA SHARP if it would be shown to student support groups.
