Region 3 is hosting a ?Behind the Scenes? tour of the new natural history exhibit, Changes, at the Illinois State Museum in Springfield on Wednesday, February 16th. The exhibit begins with a tropical Illinois situated by the equator and showcases the evolution of life and land since the Paleozoic. You won?t want to miss the interactive exhibits, the large scale dioramas and more! The modern day Illinois section features the RiverWeb Digital River Basin, one of the interactive exhibits. The tour will take place from 6 to 7 PM. Prior to our tour we are gathering from 5 to 6 for a light meal and beverages at ?Two Olives and a Pepper? which is located just a half block from the museum. Come and join your colleagues to network, relax, and learn! The cost for this event is a mere $10 (includes the meal and museum). Bring a non-ISTA colleague to the event and we?ll refund your $10 upon your arrival at the restaurant or museum. If your colleague joins ISTA that evening, we?ll refund their $10 as well. What a deal!! Space is limited, so make your reservations soon (deadline is February 14th).
