Here is an idea to create a new kind of non-profit "PBS" for classroom 
computer networks. It's a set of free media resources for Illinois 
teachers and students, hosted by the regional technology center in 
Peoria, and underwritten by the Verizon Foundation:

_Give this a try. It's a very interesting idea that, if successful, can 
provide a wealth of online resources, beginning with science, at no cost 
to Illinois teachers or schools.  If teachers explore and utilize the 
site, we'll get feedback. Pro or con, we want to know!  Thanks very much
