So many times, teachers contact me about any opportunities
for grants to help pursue a great idea they have for their classrooms. I
haven’t publicized enough about the Toyota Tapestry grant program---this
could be a great chance for Teacher eligibility:
Applications are now available and due January 18, 2007---submitted
online by 11:59 pm (faxed or mailed copies not accepted) Criteria: demonstrate creativity, involve risk-taking,
possess a visionary quality and model a novel way of presenting science---must
promote exciting and innovative activities to motivate students in science. Prize: 50 large grants of $10,000 each and minimum of
20 mini-grants of up to $2500 each---in Environmental Science, Physical Science
