Fourteen ISTA regional directors represent the seven ISTA regions. According to ISTA bylaws, all ISTA voting members elect one director from each region each year. Directors are elected for a two year term and may serve only 2 consecutive terms in an office. Directors with an "a" following their term are in their first term; those with a "b" are in their second term. The ISTA Nominations & Elections Committee, chaired by the ISTA past-president and composed of the seven most recently elected directors, encourages qualified members to run for office.
